Was Apocalypse 2012 Real? When Will the World End?

In my new book, Divine Matrix, the goal isn’t to scare you with doomsday predictions, apocalyptic prophecies, or impending human suffering—though documentaries like Curiosity can be a little unnerving. My book is about understanding the good life, and the deeper question behind it all: when will the world end, and how does that affect us?

when will the world end
When Will The World End

Most of the hype around 2012 and doomsday predictions is a product of the Internet age. Viral content thrives on fear, and anything claiming to reveal the end of the world spreads like wildfire. Many of these ideas are unverified, yet some people still swear by them. And yes, my book touches on apocalyptic themes, but with perspective and purpose.

The apocalypse is more real than we think. Some people rely on scientific explanations for how the planet might end, while others believe in mystical predictions. Some expect galactic alignments, rogue planets, solar flares, or dark matter catastrophes. Many of these theories have failed in the past, but does that mean we should ignore the threat of near apocalypse? Absolutely not.

Even scientists admit that 2012 might have been “too soon” for cataclysmic events. Whether it happens before 2025, 2030, or beyond, the possibility of a global catastrophe remains. Movies and media have portrayed the end of the world countless times—some fictional, some rooted in science, others inspired by the Bible, Mayan calendars, or even imaginative speculation.

When Will the World End?

Here’s the bigger picture: while humanity obsesses over the timing of the end, our Creator may already be steering the narrative in ways we fail to recognize. Religious diversity, political conflicts, and moral failures might seem chaotic—but perhaps they are all part of a grander plan. Maybe new tools, ideas, and crises are ways to draw humanity closer to awareness or higher understanding.

Consider how scandals, conflicts, and splits within religious communities—from clerical abuses to ideological rifts—create confusion. These events, combined with global crises and rapid technological change, might just be the subtle nudges that force us to reconsider our assumptions, priorities, and collective path.

In Divine Matrix, I explore these patterns—how small events build into global consequences, how unseen forces might influence the course of history, and how we can interpret our world without succumbing to fear. The question “when will the world end” becomes not just about dates or disasters, but about how we live, think, and respond while the world continues to unfold around us.

So yes, the apocalypse may be closer than we realize—but it’s also an opportunity. A chance to awaken, to see the patterns, and to recognize that maybe the end isn’t just about destruction—but about transformation.

How to Start Writing a Book (and Survive Your Own Madness)

Many aspiring writers ask me—even today—how to start writing a book, especially one that explores life, purpose, or the divine. Most people I meet have incredible experiences or deep knowledge in a field but struggle to sit down and draft.

Here’s my approach, drawn from my own journey. Let me be clear: there’s logic in chaos, and you don’t have to be “insane” to write a book.

The Birth of The End

The inspiration for my first book, The End, didn’t arrive overnight. It needed the right mindset, circumstances, and a little fury. Life hadn’t been kind: jobs lost, financial struggles, and personal grief shaped my perspective. I was juggling multiple jobs, barely making ends meet, yet all of it seemed to prepare me for writing.

Then came opportunity—a hand-me-down Pentium II laptop, a chance to help a friend with a documentary script, and the freedom to write. But the real spark was fury. One night, a personal argument left me awake at 3 AM, questioning my purpose. I started typing random sentences on the old laptop, unconcerned with grammar or structure. Days later, I had paragraphs, topics, and eventually chapters—forming the foundation of The End.

From The End to Divine Matrix

The End was only the beginning. I later reimagined it as Divine Matrix, expanding its ideas into a modern, interconnected perspective on life, spirituality, and human behavior. Alongside Divine Matrix, I wrote:

  • The Eshaddai Open – exploring divine guidance and personal alignment.

  • Marriage Material – diving into relationships, love, and commitment.

  • The Odd Duckling Chronicles – stories of human folly, misfits, and life lessons.

These works build on experiences, research, and reflections that deepen the core themes first explored in The End.

Research and Letting Your Ideas Thaw

A crucial step in writing a book that stands the test of time is thorough research. Dive into history, philosophy, psychology, and personal experiences to enrich your work.

Then, let it thaw. After drafting, step away. Come back later with fresh eyes. Reading your work as if it’s someone else’s allows you to spot inconsistencies, clarify your ideas, and improve the flow. This approach transforms raw writing into a polished, compelling book.

Embrace a Little Madness

Writing isn’t always orderly. Your mind must race ahead of your pen. Write sentences, notes, or fragments anywhere—on your phone, scraps of paper, or your laptop. Over time, chaos begins to form order, and your book starts to take shape.

For me, writing meant turning life’s chaos into narrative—letting experience, reflection, and even prayer guide the pen.

Steps to Start Writing Your Book

If you’ve ever asked, how do I start writing a book?, here’s my advice:

  1. Let life inspire you – frustration, joy, or reflection can all fuel creativity.

  2. Start writing immediately – don’t wait for perfection; the first words are always imperfect.

  3. Research thoroughly – ground your ideas in knowledge.

  4. Let it thaw – step away, revisit, and edit objectively.

  5. Accept a little madness – let your thoughts outpace your pen.

Whether you’re drafting a personal memoir, a novel, or a philosophical exploration like Divine Matrix, the journey starts with one sentence and the courage to continue.

Religion, Belief Systems, and the Questions We Dare to Ask

Religion is a very hot topic, and it never fails to spark debate. Lately, I’ve been diving into the countless online attempts to explain the differences between world religions, belief systems, and spiritual traditions. The deeper I go, the more I realize how incredibly complex—and sometimes baffling—it all is. Trying to reconcile all these differences feels like attempting to solve a jigsaw puzzle with half the pieces missing.

Honestly, one begins to wonder: is conflict or even forceful unification the only way humanity will ever agree on the “truth” about our past, present, and future? And if that sounds extreme, just take a look around. The world continues on, fueled by disputes derived from religious differences.

If it’s not about how close a mosque should be to Ground Zero, it’s Ahmadinejad at the UN making controversial remarks about 9/11. If it’s not political tension, it’s doctrinal debates—who is right, who is wrong, and who gets to define “divine law.” The conflicts ripple across nations, communities, and families alike.

Now, let’s get honest. If you were an alien sent to resolve these religious conflicts, would you survive more than a week before resigning? Seriously. Think about it. The layers of history, interpretation, culture, and human pride make it nearly impossible to reach agreement.

But here’s the bigger question: what is our Creator really up to? If there is a Creator—an orchestrator of cosmic events and human history—then the stakes are far greater than any interfaith debate. Consider the situation between Israel and Palestine alone. The complexity is staggering. Yet, perhaps it is not the Creator who complicates things—it’s our own limited mindsets that cannot grasp divine simplicity. Could it be that the divine plan is simple at its core, but difficult for humans to comprehend?

And then there are questions we dare not ask aloud, yet all of us quietly ponder:

  • When will Jesus really come again? Is it literal or metaphorical? And why has it not happened yet if humanity has been waiting for millennia?

  • Are we being tested through these religious conflicts, wars, and moral failings? Could every doctrine, prophecy, and sacred text be part of a cosmic lesson in patience, awareness, and spiritual growth?

  • Is morality universal, or just a human approximation of divine will?

It’s easy to dismiss these as impossible questions, but the truth is that reflecting on them can be liberating. Instead of arguing endlessly about rituals, holidays, or sacred texts, we can focus on the lessons and values that unify us: kindness, honesty, empathy, and the pursuit of truth.

Now, here’s a story that made me smile while thinking about the futility of human stubbornness in religion.

A friend of mine, let’s call him Sam, decided one day that he was going to “settle” a debate once and for all about which religion was superior. He gathered a group of friends from different faiths in his living room—Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, atheists, you name it. Sam, freshly fired from work and looking for a distraction, thought this was the perfect way to prove his point and finally get revenge on a world that “wronged” him.

What happened next was pure chaos. The conversation quickly escalated, voices got louder, sides got taken, and halfway through, Sam realized he couldn’t even explain his own point clearly because he had drunk too much coffee to stay awake after a sleepless night. By the end of the evening, everyone was more confused than ever—and Sam’s cat had knocked over the snack table, adding a salty-sweet commentary of its own. The moral? You cannot force understanding where minds are not ready to meet. And sometimes, you just end up with a room full of hungry, frustrated people and a very sticky carpet.

Perhaps that’s exactly how the Creator lets us experience life. Sometimes we argue, collide, and spill snacks all over the carpet—but in the process, we learn patience, humility, and that maybe it’s not about winning the debate but understanding the lessons hidden in chaos.

So the next time someone asks you to take a side in a religious debate, pause. Ask yourself: are we fighting over the letter, or are we missing the spirit? And maybe, just maybe, the Creator is watching—not to punish, but to see if we are capable of recognizing the threads of divine logic woven through human chaos.

Is the year 2012 the year for Trick Or Treat!!!!!

The world is speculating a great about the world ending in 2012, with many looking forward to it coming and going without any fuss; after all how many prophecies have come and passed without any of the speculated events!

Well, I will not be joining in the drumming for this event for I have no confirmation or even powers to prophesize that the world will end on 21 December 2012.

But I want to think a little deeply about it! Let’s say you live in an earthquake prone zone and on 21 December 2012, you hear tremors and the ground shakes. What will go through your mind as the earthquake unravels its full force? Will you suddenly connect this occurrence with the Dec 2012 Apocalypse claim?

Well, I will hate to go so much into it as it will be a very extra-ordinary event. As in will you collapse and go into prayer or will you carry out the life saving drills that you have often been trained on when such quakes occur?

On the other hand, what if nothing happens. What if our creator out there doesn’t want to take man down violently and instead wants it to be this pleasant event! Will mankind be glad welcome it?

I say so because we are so engrossed with our daily grind to think much about our creator, apart from Sunday morning among some other religious days. Instead we are per-occupied about targets…..targets….. and more target thanks to capitalism somewhat.

It is so much so that if the world was indeed to end on 21 Dec apocalypse, then let's admit it, many of us will be caught off guard.

Well, to those that subscribe to the Christian faith, it is often said that the ways of the Lord is mysterious. At least according William Cowper.  And since this it is not quoted in the bible, let's assume that it is true.

Could it be possible that while the world is expecting devastating doomsday events like earthquakes, flood, diseases etc, our creator is working with subtle everyday things to try and turn us into prosperity or should I say eternal life? I am not saying that it is the case, but could it be possible?

Could it also be possible that we are being waited on by him. I am just thinking aloud here! Could it be possible that sin and other calamities are to be stopped by us first, before our creator listens to our pleas. Is our creator trying to prove a point to his alter ego and vice versa.

Well, if that is the case, there should be a lot of prayer and tightly clasped hands where out creator resides as you read this. It means one more person is also begining to think outside the boz.  Next time you look at the sky just  send an imagined kiss to the sky. Becuase you are alive and two, if our creator is up there, he will get your appreciation and acknowledgment.

My Take On Apocalypse 2012 And Beyond

I agree that most of the readings we are seeing about apocalypse 2012 could very much be a unique product of the Internet age and people’s desire to capitalize on anything that can go viral regarding this topic.

I also agree that a lot of what we are seeing out there as ‘out-of-mainstream ideas’ can easily be untrue. And I could be mistaken for being one of them with my Book "The End", as I write  about apocalyptic times; the good one we all desire.

But my ideas were written and published way before this 2012 phenomenon. I wrote my book in 2009, and all of it came out of my own inspiration or some supernatural manipulation—who knows!

All I know is that I was bitter and that lead to some crazy 5 months of inspired writing; much like what we saw in the film stigmata. Though, admittedly, I hope to ride on this 2012 apocalyptic wave, I still want to pass a message that leads to some great times ahead.

That brings out my argument that in as much as everyone is focusing on apocalypse 2012, we are in danger of overlooking the chance that someone could be right-- not necessarily me-- regarding this apocalyptic event , about some unbiased  prediction that will really happen.

On a brighter side the focus around this apocalyptic event could also lead to some unified effort by mankind to make earth a better place, which to me would be a feat and a half. Even the UN body would come a distance second. So let’s go around this issue with an open mind. Someone could be right, but swallowed up by the So called “new age influencers.”

Doomsday, Divine Timing, and Survival: What 2012 Taught Us

Was the world really ending in 2012? No. Yet the fascination with the infamous 2012 end of the world date persists. It raises a deeper question: are these “apocalyptic” events random, or part of a divine orchestration?

In my book Divine Matrix, I explore how major global events—pandemics, wars, social upheavals—may be mechanisms through which God nudges humanity toward His desired End. The problem is, humanity behaves like cattle in a dip, needing to be cajoled or occasionally “whipped” to pass through experiences that are ultimately beneficial.

God, Humanity, and the Illusion of Chaos

No human can claim to fully understand the timeline of the universe, yet we act as though we do. Sacred texts—from the Bible to the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, and even the wisdom of ancient civilizations—suggest that divine orchestration underlies life’s chaos.

“Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity,” as Daniel’s 21-day fast illustrates. Modern events—from global pandemics like Covid-19 to nuclear tensions—may be God’s way of testing or redirecting humanity.

The Divine Matrix encourages readers to see these events not as meaningless disasters, but as signals to reflect, adjust, and awaken spiritually.

Human Choices and Cosmic Influence

In Divine Matrix, I examine how:

  • Human decisions—whether political, social, or personal—interact with larger divine or cosmic patterns.

  • Spiritual awareness influences the outcomes of major world events.

  • Global crises can be interpreted as opportunities to realign with higher purposes.

The book challenges readers to consider: are we truly in control, or are we unwitting participants in a grand experiment where every choice nudges us closer—or further—from the desired End?

Major World Events as Divine Lessons

Events like pandemics, social unrest, and climate disasters are more than news headlines—they may be wake-up calls from a higher power.

  • Humanity often ignores lessons, behaving blindly.

  • Leaders and societies resist guidance, creating cycles of repetition.

  • Only by reflecting on our collective choices can we begin to see the patterns God has embedded in history.

The Divine Matrix is not a prophecy book—it’s a lens to help us decode life’s complexity and recognize divine intention in seemingly random events.

Your Role in the Divine Matrix

We are participants, not bystanders. Understanding how human choices intersect with divine orchestration allows us to:

  • See global events in a new light, beyond fear and panic.

  • Reflect on personal and collective decisions.

  • Align our actions with higher principles without being paralyzed by anxiety.

Ready to Explore?

Discover how Divine Matrix reveals the unseen patterns behind major world events and the role we play in God’s grand plan. See life not as random chaos, but as a guided journey toward a greater End.
